West Ham United: Ins And Outs Id Like To See In January

Here are the ins and outs id like to see happen at West Ham in January:

In:

Darren Bent
Age: 28
Position: Striker
Current club: Aston Villa
Previous clubs: Ipswich, Charlton, Tottenham, Sunderland.
Even though he's ex Spurs, I would love to see Darren Bent in a West Ham shirt come the end of January. The out of favour Aston Villa striker has a good goalscoring record in the Premier League. I feel that he could adapt to our style of play very well. He's big, strong, fast, good in the air, he holds the ball up well and is a good finisher. Just what we need.
Formation(s) that Bent could be included in:
4-1-2-1-2.  Diame CDM, Jarvis LM, Collison/Vaz Te RM, Nolan CAM, Carroll ST, Bent ST.
4-2-3-1: Diame CDM, Noble CDM, Jarvis LM, Collison/Vaz Te RM, Nolan CAM, Bent ST.
4-3-3: Diame CM, Noble CM, Nolan CM, Jarvis LW, Bent ST, Collison/Vaz Te.

Paul Robinson
Age: 33
Position: Goalkeeper
Current club: Blackburn
Previous clubs: Leeds, Tottenham
Another ex Spurs player. Paul Robinson is a well experienced goalkeeper who looks set to be leaving Blackburn. I think he would be a good signing for us as he is still a quality goalkeeper. He would also provide competition for Jaaskelainen which would be good for both goalkeepers. Also if Jaaskelainen got injured we wouldn't have to worry about scrambling Henderson back from a loan spell. Big Sam has worked with Robinson before so there's an increased chance that he could be coming to Upton Park.

Danny Simpson-
Age: 25
Position: Right Back
Current club: Newcastle
Previous clubs: Manchester United, Royal Antwerp (loan), Sunderland (loan), Ipswich (loan), Blackburn (loan), Newcastle (loan)
I think Danny Simpson would be a good signing for us as he would help improve our defence. He would also be re united with ex Newcastle team mates Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll. With Alan Pardew set to restart his quest to sign French right back Mathieu Debuchy after an un successful attempt to land him in the summer; a switch south for Simpson could be possible.

Joe Cole-
Age: 31
Position: Attacking midfielder/Winger
Current club: Liverpool
Previous clubs: West Ham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Lille (loan)
As we all know, Joe Cole came through West Ham's Youth Academy. Since then he's gone on to play for the England senior team 56 times, scoring 10 goals. A return to Upton Park for Joe Cole would put a smile on many Hammers' faces. Cole hasn't been one of Brendan Rodgers regular starters at Liverpool this season, he has made most of his appearances coming off the bench. I hope we can persuade Liverpool to let Cole come to us on loan for the rest of the season. He would be coming back to somewhere where he is loved. I think that Joe Cole could add a bit of flair to our style of play, playing cheeky, disguised through balls to our attackers. Cole is also very versatile as he can play in a number of positions.
Formation(s) that Cole could be included in:
4-2-3-1. Diame CDM, Noble CDM, Jarvis LM, Nolan CAM, Cole RM. Carroll ST.
4-3-3. Diame CM, Noble CM, Nolan CM, Jarvis LW, Carroll ST, Cole RW
4-3-2-1.  Diame CM, Cole CM, Noble CM, Jarvis LAM, Nolan RAM, Carroll ST.
4-2-3-1. Diame CDM, Cole CDM, Jarvis LM, Nolan CAM, Collison/Vaz Te RM, Carroll ST.

Out:

Frederic Piquionne:
Age: 34
Position: Striker
Time is up for Piquionne at West Ham. Its time for him to move on and start a new challenge somewhere else. He's simply not good enough for us. I hope a club comes in for him in January. If not, I think he should be released. I've heard rumours that he is earning £70,000 a week. Im not sure if thats true or not, I hope it isn't. The sooner Piquionne or Sh*tionne as I call him, is gone, the better. I think his value in pounds is on the back of his shirt.

Modibo Maiga (loan):
Age: 25
Position: Striker/Winger

I would like to see Maiga go out on loan, but only if we brought another striker in. I only have one reason for putting Maiga here. Its for the fact if he goes out on loan he can gain a bit more experience.

Here's the starting XI i'd like to see at the end of the January Transfer Window:
