My Premier League Predictions For Today.
Good morning everyone, here are my Premier League predictions for today:
Sunderland vs Tottenham.
Sunderland will be boosted by two 1-0 wins on the bounce, beating Southampton last Saturday then Man City on boxing day.
However, I think Tottenham will be too strong for the North East side and will come away with the win.
My prediction: 0-2.
Aston Villa vs Wigan.
Aston Villa vs Wigan is a 6 pointer for both teams considering where they are in the table. A win for Aston Villa will put them 6 points clear of the relegation zone. Villa currently have the worst goal difference in the division so a win is vital.
A win for Wigan would pull them out of the relegation zone. A draw for the two sides would be the last thing that they would want.
My prediction: 1-2.
Fulham vs Swansea.
Judging by the table I feel that Fulham need the win more. If they can get the ball to Berbatov and create some chances it will make a good game.
Last time Swansea met Fulham at Craven Cottage they returned back to Wales with 3 points after scoring 3 goals. Swansea's passing game will be too much for Fulham and I can see them coming away with 3 points again.
My prediction: 1-3.
Manchester United vs West Brom.
I can see this being a good game. Even without Rooney, Manchester United are obviously a very strong side. I think this game will be won in midfield.
I don't think West Brom will sit back with 11 men behind the ball, I can see them going there and trying to play their own game. I think the game will be tight but Manchester United will get the 3 points.
My Prediction: 2-0.
Norwich vs Manchester City.
Norwich will feel confident after Manchester City lost to Sunderland on boxing day. However, they have lost two games on the bounce themselves.
This is a game which I can see Manchester City dominating. After a defeat to Sunderland on Wednesday I can see City bouncing back well. Their firepower will simply be too strong for Norwich.
My Prediction: 0-4.
Reading vs West Ham.
Reading are sitting in 19th place with only one win all season. I cant see them doubling that figure today.
West Ham will be boosted by the return of Alou Diarra and Ricardo Vaz Te. Carlton Cole could also feature as his red card was rescinded.
My prediction: 0-3.
Stoke vs Southampton.
Stoke are a very strong side who have gone 9 games unbeaten, I can't see this run coming to an end today. The Britannia is a fortress for The Potters.
I can see Southampton having a go at Stoke as they desperately need the win. A win I don't think they will get.
My prediction: 2-0.
Arsenal vs Newcastle.
I think this game will be tight and cagey in the early stages but then will explode into to life and turn out to be a cracking game. Arsenal are a good passing side as we all know. The Gunners will have fresher legs as their game against West Ham on Wednesday was postponed due to a tube strike.
Newcastle were extremely unlucky not to get a point at Old Trafford. Alan Pardew will want a repeat performance from his side who are languishing in 15th place.
My prediction: 2-2.
